One Pick Can Save A City

Take it from someone who knows, one pick can in fact save a city. The NBA Draft is on Thursday night and with one simple pick the hopes and dreams of a city can be raised. I speak from experience. Living in Cleveland is very difficult on a die-hard sports fan. We have won NOTHING and when we lose, we lose big. But in May 2003 that all changed when the Cleveland Cavaliers received the number 1 pick in the draft and used it to select LeBron James. The city had finally won something, even though it was not a title. We own a superstar, he is ours...for now. So Danny Ferry, you have two years to get this thing right or else LeBron will leave. No pressure, now go find us a diamond in the rough at pick #19.
